Rapier Field Standard C

The Rapier field Standard C is an ground based air defence missile system for short ranges against enemy UAV's, helicopters, aircraft and cruise missiles. The missile can destroy supersonic aircraft on low altitudes. The Rapier is air transportable by aircraft and helicopters and can be towed by medium sized armored vehicles. From 1992, 57 systems were produced for the British Army and Air Force. In 2004, the number of systems was reduced till 24 and the RAF Rapiers were withdrawn from service.
Jernas
Jernas is the export variant of the Rapier FSC Mk2 and is in service with countries like Oman, Singapore, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland and Australia.
