Dragon
The M47 Dragon is a anti-tank weapon which is in in use by the United States
Army and the Royal Netherlands Army and Marine Corps. It is a dread-guided
anti-tank missile with a 84mm caliber. The projectile can penetrate homogeneous
steel till 80 cm and reinforced concrete till 150 cm. The launcher can also
be used as storage and carry suit of the projectile. The material of the
launcher is made from fibre glass. The maximum range is 1000 meters and
is most effective at 65 meters. The M47 has a weight of 47 kilograms. |
