Saxon

The Saxon is a wheeled armoured vehicle in service with the Royal British Army for transport of troops. It can be used off-the road perfectly and is able to drive through water with a maximum height of 0.9 meters. Variants on the Saxon are repair vehicle for the engineers, an armoured ambulance, command post vehicle and vehicles which have been modified with an L37 machine gun (GPMG).

The Saxon has a length of 5.16 meters, height of 2.63 meters and a width of 2.48 meters. It has a wartime combat weight of 10.670 kilograms. It has an Bedford 600 6-cylindre diesel which provides 164 hp. The crew consists of a 2 men which can transport 10 troops.
For self-defence, the saxon has one 7.62 mm gun.
