M60 Patton (United States)

The M60 Patton has been developed by the American company Chrysler. The production of the M60 started in 1960. The M60 is the predecessor of the M1 Abrams and is in service with the US Reserve and the US National Guard. Before, it was also used in the US Army. There have been build more than 15.000 of the Patton of which 5.400 have been updated to M60A3.

Missions
The tank was used by the Israeli Army during the Yom Kippur war. During desert storm about 210 M60A1 where used by the US Marines to support Saudi-Arabia in Kuwait city. The M60 Patton is still in service with the army of Portugal.
