The AE 2100 has been chosen for the 2-engine C-27J Spartan and the 4-engine C-130J Hercules.
Aircraft which were first equipped with the Allison T56 can be easily re-engined with the AE 2100. For example on the 4-engine C-130J from the British and United States Air Force which are equipped with the AE 2100D3 version (4637 hp).
