A-4 Skyhawk

The A-4 Skyhawk is a subsonic single-engine light-weight attack airplane, developed by McDonnell Douglas in the early 50ths. The A-4 was in use by the United States Marine Corps on aircraft carriers.

In 1997, the Brazilian Navy bought 20 A-4KU airplanes from the Air Force of Kuwait. These Skyhawks are locally designated as AF-1. The Brazilian Navy operates with Skyhawks from the aircraft carrier Sao Paulo.
