YAL
Airborne Laser (United States) American aircraft which can destroy missiles by a ultimate strong laser gun at the front of the aircraft. The YAL is a modified Boeing 747-400F which has a laser head at the nose of the aircraft. |

The
first tests were in 1004. The production will started between 2006 and
2008 to have in 2008 7 Airborne lasers in the USAF inventory. The aircraft
must destroy the missiles in the bhoost phase, this is the phase that
ballistic missiles with their engine are launched to the space. The whole
