Boeing 747

The Boeing 747 is a 4-engine (high bypass) medium to long range commercial airplane, developed by the American company Boeing. It was originally developed as a new transport airplane for the US Air Force but was not selected.

- Boeing 747
The Japanese air self-defence force has 2 Boeing 747-400 VIP aircraft.

Iran
- Boeing 747-100F
The Air Force of Iran has 5 Boeing 747-100F tanker airplanes. The KC-747 was developed for a competition for the USAF, but was not selected. The aircraft were sold to Iran.
