Hunter

The Hunter is a unmanned reconnaissance airplane developed by the American company Northrop Grumman and the Israel Aircraft Industries. The aircraft is in service with the United States Army, US marines and in other versions by Belgium and France.
The aircraft can be armored with BAT munitions and Viper Strike precision munitions. It can also be equipped with a FLIR pod to provide images day and night.
The aircraft is controlled by 2 operators and a pilot from a ground station who can see live images and control the aircraft and his armor. These images in the Hunter are made by a RVT (Real Video Terminal) an can be send to the ground station till 40Km.

Belgium
The B-Hunter which is be used by Belgium has a automatic landing and take-off system. A newer version - the Extended hunter - is larger and has a larger fly capacity.

USA
The US Hunter is used during the Cosovo crisis and during Operation Iraqi Freedom. It provided reconnaissance-, surveillance-, and target recruit missions.
