Sea Dart
The F2Y Sea Dart was a supersonic seaplane, developed by the Amrican company
Convair. It was developed to fill the gap that supersonic airplanes where
not able operate from aircraft carriers. Only 5 Sea Darts were build.
The first flight was on 9 April 1953 in San Diego bay (California). On
16 January 1956 was the first flight from the sea.
