The Agusta-Westland AW139 is a medium-weight 2-engine helicopter, able
for multiple missions like SAR, maritime operations and army support.
The AW139
is equipped with 2 PT6C-67C turboshaft engines, each producing 1252 kW
power. The AW139 can reach maximum cruise speeds of 310 km/h, a range
of over 1000km and an endurance of over 5 hours. The military version
is the AW-149.

The Irish Army has ordered 6 AW139 helicopters where of 4 already have
been delivered.
2. the Netherlands
The Dutch Police Aviation department has ordered 2 AW139's which will
support the new EC135
heli's which will replace the current fleet of Bo-105.
3. Cyprus
On 18 december 2008, the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus, ordered 3 AW139
helicopters for search and rescue missions within their Flight Information
Region (FIR).
4. Qatar
In August 2008, Qatar ordered 18 AW139 helicopters. The first AW139 was
delivered on November 24, 2009.

Panama
On August 11, 2010 Agusta-Westland announced that the Government of Panama
ordered 6 AW139 helicopters for national and public security roles.
