SA 342 Gazelle

The SA 342 Gazelle is a light utility helicopter which has been developed by the French company Eurocopter / Aerospatiale.
The SA 342 is used by the French Army in 3 versions:
  • Gazelle HOT
    This type of helicopter can carry 4 HOT missiles which have a maximum range of 4000 meters
  • Gazelle Canon
    The Gazelle Canon is equipped with a 20mm machine gun which is mounted on the right side of the fuselage
  • Gazelle Viviane
    The Gazelle Viviane is a reconnaissance version, equipped with an infra-red seeing system
