USS Belleau Wood (USA)

A Assault Amphibious ship of the US Navy. The Belleau wood (LHA-3) is the 3rd ship from the Tarawa class. The Belleau Wood was commissioned in September 1978 and decommissioned on October 28, 2005.
 

The ship is able to transport:

6x AV-8B Harrier attack aircraft, 4x AH-1W Super cobra helicopters, 12x CH-46 Sea knight helicopters, 9x CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters and 4x UH-1N Huey helicopters
or
6 AV-8B Harrier attack planes, 12 CH-46 Sea knight helicopters, 9 CH-53 Sea Stallion Helicopter.
The ship can transport 1900 troops marines. The average cost of one ship is 75 million dollar.
